Can I enter points without a screenshot?
Yes. Choose a program and type the balance with the number pad. Screenshot recognition is always optional.
Does Perch upload my screenshots?
No. Apple Vision reads a screenshot on your iPhone, then Perch shows the suggested balance for your confirmation. The image is not uploaded or retained by Perch.
Why is my value an estimate?
Loyalty points do not have a fixed cash price. Perch shows an editorial cents-per-point estimate and its reasoning. You can set a personal valuation for any program.
How do I delete my data?
Open Profile in Perch, choose “Delete account & data,” and confirm. This removes local portfolio data and, when private sync is active, the anonymous sync account and its associated rows.
Can I restore my portfolio on a new device?
Not in version 1.0. Private sync uses an anonymous session for this installation and does not provide durable account recovery. Keep your source balances available and do not treat private sync as a backup.
Will checking a balance reset an expiry date?
No. Perch only starts an inactivity clock after you explicitly confirm a qualifying earn or redemption date. Always confirm important dates with the loyalty program.
